  2. The flash of high intensity light penetrated through the epidermis, is absorbed and assimilated in the hair bulbous region, and acts as inhibitor to the hair follicle through temporarily temperature rise and agglutination. Due to the concentration of the intense pulsed light energy there is no need to overload the skin with excessive energy like in many other systems. This makes the treatment efficient but at the same time painless to the skin. There may be other applications too.. like acne reduction.
